JOE MONTANA
RECENT INDUCTEE INTO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME
Joseph Clifford Montana was born in New Eagle , Pa. on June 11 ,1956. He graduated from Notre Dame in 1978 and begun playing for the San Fransico 49er's. He led the team to 4 Superbowl wins (1981,84,88,89). His extaordinary career ended with the Kansas City Chiefs. The NFL's complicated Rating system ,bestowed Montana with the highest rating in NFL history.
In 1994 Joe ended his career with over 40,000 passing yards in NFL action. He is only the fifth quaterback to accomplish that.
